While my husband had a massage, I was pampered with a warm cream manicure, then a facial, followed by a make-up refresher (eyes and lips only - it is not recommended to wear make-up after facials, it will clog your pores). My skin had been problematic while living here in Arizona, and in efforts to clear it up my Esthetician Ashley at Red Door Spa recommended an Oxygen Blast basically to help the clogged pores breath and release the toxins. She also recommended this at-home product between treatments: B. Kamins Bio-Maple Lactic 10 leave-on facial product.
I think I'll give it a try!
We had a relaxing rest of the weekend, just being together and celebrating the first week of the New Year with some luxurious R&R! I'll say it again, I'm so thankful God has blessed me with my husband, who's MAN enough to enjoy this luxury with me. (Note: We've had couples' massages before and they are a DO! With Valentine's Day not far away, a gift certificate and RSVP at the spa is a gift that will make you shine!)
